The dBSONIC Sound Editor is a versatile tool for processing sound signals in the time and the frequency domain.

Functions are:

• cut, copy, paste, delete
• change level, fade, trim
• sample rate conversion
• and more ...

Several adjustable parametric filters as well as highpass, lowpass and bandpass filters can be applied.

For play back of artificial head recordings appropriate equalization filters, such as diffuse field, free field, and others, are available. The audio output can be calibrated in order to achieve hearing-based play back volume.

If a sound signal does contain rpm information this is considered during the processing. The rpm information is not destroyed!
